That was ten years ago. Martinez has really matured since then. Have you even seen that fight?

It's irrelevant to this fight. If Pavlik beats him it's because Martinez's tendency to trade in the middle rounds will count against him. After his initial burst in the early rounds he steps off the gas, which is when Pavlik's greater consistency will take its toll.

 

That doesn't usually make a difference. East Coast and West Coast fights both start around 9/10pm ET on HBO. Tonight's card starts at 10pm ET but Bute-Miranda is first.

what time is this fight due to start? I read somewhere it was 1am u.k time but i'm guessing that isn't true. considering getting some kip before if it's late.
