Pavlik vs Mora done deal July 18th!!!!!

cool pavlik should win this fight. Hopefully by knockout I dont get why so many people are so upset about pavlik-abraham not happening right now. It's not like these guys are old and will be retiring soon. They are still young and the possibility of them facing each other in the near future is huge.

Pavlik just loss to hopkins couple of months ago so let the guy get his confidence back.

 

That is willful ignornace on your part. Mora had a grand total of two fights at 154. In the 2000 Olympic Trials he fought in the same division as Pavlik and Taylor. He made his professional debut at 160, and has been there ever since. The Forrest fights are his only fights at 154. Ya, I hate the idea of Pavlik/Mora more than most. But calling Mora a light middleweight makes you look like an idiot.

In October 2005 Fulgencio Zuniga was a better fighter than the current version of Mora.
In July 2006 Bronco McKart was a better fighter than Mora is. In fact, Mora refused to fight McKart.
In 2007 Zertuche and Miranda were better than Mora.
In 2007 Taylor was in a whole different Universe than Mora.
In 2008 Taylor at 166; no comment required.
In 2009 Rubio would probably beat Mora, or at least give him a run for his money.
At 160, Mora's best wins are Jesse Brinkley and Peter Manfredo.

The above clearly defines why Arum is off his rocker to bring this **** fight up. It has nothing to do with Mora having two fights at 154.

 

Well, the problem is that AA is having trouble making weight. So people feel this over rides everything. I keep repeating, AA's weight should not be the guiding factor in Kelly's career. AA's weight is his own problem. Mainly just a bunch of people thinking that if they get enough people saying the same thing they are, they must be right.

WOW, nice card! Kirkland is going for the gusto in Sergei! Mora is the right match-up for Pavlik. Kelly needs to learn how to deal with slick movers. John-Juarez 2, not bad. I'll go with the Kirkland card.

I'm thinkng that when Hopkins was kneeling, giving Pavlik advice, he shared the other secret of his highly successful middleweight run besides telling Kelly to fight like a black fighter- fight a shitload of smaller and more beatable guys, then take the risks at the end of your career so nobody can ever say you got beaten in your prime.
