On a realer note, now would be the time to potentially test JuanMa Lopez' drawing power.

Also somewhat slipped in there? Mora/Pavlik being RESCHEDULED for September. There truly is no hope.

 

I hope is good oponent for Juanma, and who is the hot prospect that is going to fight Paulie Ortiz or Alvarado, i hope is Ortiz.

 

Pavlik is always injuring his hand. Before he cut it with a glass and now this.

Anyway, good opportunity for JuanMa. It seems that the stars are aligning pretty well for him.

 

I have to wonder who they could get on a little less than two months notice to face JuanMa Lopez. My guess is any sort of unification fight is out the window as is any "name" opponent. I'll take a shot in the dark and guess it'll be Ricardo Cordoba or Antonio Escalante.

As per the hot prospect, Either one will do IMO. That said I've read about how Arum wants to start the hype machine on Mike Alvarado so that's my guess.

 

Juanma is great and all but i'm not paying 39.95 to watch it as a main event.

 

Ok now that Juanma is going to fight in New York, i think what his oponent would be, thinking what fighter is good enought but not great to atract people, lets say umm at that weight not so many fighters are from the New york area, lets see in another tread i see a Dune vs Juanma rumors, Dune is irish the irish comunity in New York is big, so thats a potential hit in New York, i think this is the new Juanma oponent. If not maybe Wilfredo Vazquez jr.

 

You forget about streams are great for those i'm not willing to pay for that.

 

They should cancel the fight and setup Pavlik with another opponent.

 

Izzy's going to 126, Caballero is going after Gamboa, and I have no idea what's up with Marquez.

Dunne might end up being all that's left for JuanMa at 122.

Hard to say. I hope it means they just pushed a statement out the door as a negotiating tactic with Abraham.

 

I'd hope so as well...that said I really get the feeling that Arum is DEAD SET on this. From the pushing of Mora taking a "tune up bout" in the mean time to the rescheduling, I get the vibe it will happen.

 

Hey do you read the post completly, Juanam is not the guy fighting the prospect is Paulie Malliegnaggi, Alvarado and Ortiz are Jr. Welters.

 

Rafa has a fight scheduled so he's out of the equation and Izzy is currently looking to campaign at 126 so that crosses them out. Caballero just fought so he's out of the equation as well.

If you're expecting an opponent like that, you're going to be disappointed.
