now that BHop exposed this Mummy Pavlik has become Mikel Kessler fighting softtouches and milking the title Im off the band -wagon

 

as i understood it, the deal was sealed with contracts signed and boardwalk hall in atlantic city already booked for the date. do you have some reason to believe it's still up in the air?

 

It's far from a done deal. Bob is in Mexico and has yet to officially meet with KP. I think it is going to go down, but until it's official theres nothing.

 

i see Mora lasting the distance but he's going to take a beating in the process...it's not that bad of a fight, it's just that Pavlik should be fighting AA instead...

 

That's a good test for slickness dealing. Hopefully, and if he wins, a mega match can be on the horizon. Good for Pavlik, he needs to learn to deal with slicksters. BHOP exposed that area. If KP can get lighter on his feet and broaden his skill set he could add to his viciousness.

 

Saying that Pavlik should fight Mora to learn to deal with slicksters is like saying he learned to deal with bangers by fighting Rubio. Mora has the style to trouble KP, but he does not have it at a high enough level. He's not fast, and he has no power. Therefore, he is lacking two of the three elements that allowed BHop to dominate KP. If Mora had a fast, stiff jab, and a good right hand, we'd have a fight on our hands. He has neither, and what we have is a mismatch.

 

Who next? John Duddy?

Absolute flawless post BOO! Mora will be running against Pav, Pav has good power but not the real one punch power rather accumulation. How is he going to land consistently against someone who is going to be running and have a defensive mindset? To be honest this is going to be a VERRY boring fight! Really not fair for Pavlik, and Mora wil make him look bad!

 

Unfortunately, that was the rumour going around the boxing scene until Pavlik and his team announced they were ready for the King if all goes well by the end of this year!
