i agree. i like Kelly but i have always been against these shitty first defense fights. i hope he doesn't do it. and i hope the same fans who **** on Taylor(like myself) for wanting Mora will **** on Kelly too.
I don't mind see Pavlik fight Mora because..... # 1 I want too see Mora knocked out. # 2 I think Kelly should have easy one after 3 wars in a row. # 3 I like the media hype that fight would get and that it would have wide viewing audience. # 4 In truth it might a good fight, Mora is a tough cooky. :deal
I think mora is a real contender, he could probably last about 8 rounds with Pavlik, possibly the distance. Hes fast, unorthodox, long reach and got stamina.
We gotta be realistic about Pavlik first defence if it not against Taylor. # 1 It not going to Abraham because the guy is booked for a fight in Germany at the end of the year, also HBO will want to air him fighting somebody before he fights Pavlik to build up the fight between the two champs. # 2 It won't be Winky who is coming off a loss and waiting for his eye to heal and wants to fight Oscar anyway. # 3 Which leaves Sergio Mora or John Duddy as the two likely guys Pavlik will fight. :deal
Pavlik versus Mora would be a quick KO for Kelly, the end. I don't know why people gave Taylor **** for considering this guy. The Contender season one winner needs a reality check. He has a punch that makes Cory Spinks laugh, but he is sort of crafty. I just want to see this inflated ego popped. Elvin Ayala won't do it, but anyone in the top 10 (which Mora got dropped from) could put Mora away inside 4 rounds. Hell, Andy Lee would KO Mora with only some trouble.
I've already said this about 5 times, but I'll say it once more. Kelly's last 6 opponents had a combined 163 fights with 116 knockouts. The guy deserves a break. In addition, he probably earned diddly-**** in the fights prior to Miranda. So, let him take the easy big pay day, and at the same time do all boxing fans a favor by ridding us of that punk ass Mora. Kelly by brutal 3rd round decapitation.
