Old school my ass! It ain't over until the greatest professional wrestler, not of modern times, but of ALL time, says it over. Whoooooo! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fj3OvBjJ1yU[/ame]
HOLY:admin ****IN:yikes ****!!! You have got to be kidding me! That is probably the funnies **** I ave seen in a long time!!! Damn the old man sparked that fool! KOMF1!
Hogan should have learned by now: Never turn your back on the dirtiest player in the game! I can't believe these two dinosaurs are still taking bumpsatsch
and people were criticizing Floyd for even being mentioned with Matthew Hatton, Pavlik has said he is seriously considering fighting Brian "Most people in the UK don't know who I am" Rose. Someone please take these belts away, his most dangerous opponent since winning the belts has been Gary Lockett, what the ****?
I keep telling you guy's that Kelly Pavlik is a major reason of why boxing is becoming a dying sport! This is not a personal attack but its an attack at what he has done as the MW champ! This has nothing to do with the PW vs KP dibacle, but has more to do with the fact that he has defended his titles against C and D level opponents and was shut out by Bhop! To tell you the truth there is know reason why Pavlik should have a fan base at all! I'll admit after the Miranda win I understand why people took a liking to him!(I WAS a Pavlik fan). Pavlik showed heart and determination in the ring, that is something to like! After gaining the titles he has been a HUGE dissapointment in and out of the ring! Its crazy how "some" fighters get less praise and cheers for more accomplishments than Kelly Pavlik! In a nut shell Pavlik is actually bad for boxing because he truly has nothing to offer at this point of his career!
Pavlik has nothing to offer? He just offered Paul Williams a career high pay day. PW turned it down and made a fight with Cintron for less money. Looks like the "most feared fighter in boxing" marketing gimmick is a thing of the past.
Were those for the Belt? No, then shut your piehole. He hasn't fought anyone dangerous for those belts since he has won them.
You said, straight out, and without equivocation, that Lockett is Pavlik's most danerous opponent since he won the titles. In other words, you rated Gary Lockett above Jermain Taylor, Bernard Hopkins, and Marco Antonio Rubio. Don't worry -- downs syndrome is quite common on ESB.
Brian Rose lmao what do Marco Antonio Rubio, Gary Lockett and Miguel Epsino have in common ? They are all cans that got a Middleweight Championship shot. Is Rose any different ?
It's already been pointed out earlier in the thread that there was either a miscommunication or Pavlik is unaware of his prospective opponents name. It's more than likely that Ryan Rhodes, (the WBC's number 3 light-middle), & not Brian Rose (a 14-0 prospect), is Pavlik's intended target. Either way, I hope Rhodes refuses the opportunity. He's worked hard to rebuild his career & is once again fighting at his correct weight where he is unbeaten, and on the verge of a world title shot.
Pavlik/Martinez is almost done. The biggest hurdle was getting HBO on board with it. Thier first choice was Pavlik/Williams. They also wanted a Williams/Martinez rematch. However, PW took a fight with Cintron for less money. HBO is now on board with Pavlik/Martinez, and so are Dibella, Arum, Kelly, and Sergio.
