Pavlik is overrated on the general because of his few fans who refuse to hear a word against him. However he is still a good fighter and a challenge for Froch. This is the best time Froch can face him.

    Pavlik could beat Froch.

Pavlik is a hard puncher make no mistake, he's a lot higher work-rate than Froch, and his defence is tighter.

It's an even fight and everybody acts like Froch is the 90/10 favourite.

Same here, to me he still pushes his punches and he hasnt got a wide variety.

It will be a war whilst it lasts and i think this is a fight that Froch can actually win and again raise his profile in the US.

I just dont see what Pavlik does to trouble Froch.

He is powerful but has shown he doesnt carry it beyond 160lbs and Froch has a rock solid chin. Froch is troubled by speed and awkward pucnhes, Pavlik does none of the above. Pavlik is a monster at 160lbs and dominates his opponents, he wont dominate Froch.

I thought Sturm had some more hand-picked bums lined up? Only one name we're interested in at 160, Mr Arum, and his name is.... ABRAHAM. I keep posting this vid but I just want people to know that Arum's mouth can never be trusted (2:39):

He has plenty to trouble Froch believe me. Anybody that can punch hard consistently, and Pavlik punches hard for 12 rounds and can throw 800 punches, is gonna seriously trouble the leaky defence of Froch. He has the long jab/right hand very similar to Froch.

Pavlik has a good chin himself and he actually keeps his hands up which is going to give him a good chance in exchanges.
