It really doesn't matter who won this fight. Jermain Taylor lost in the sense that he can't prove himself much stronger or superior technically to Kelly, not even at 166 pounds, and he was supposed to be clearly at a higher level prior to the first fight. Then, how can Pavlik have lost in these two fights if he remains undefeated, a WBC-WBO middleweight titlist, and proved that he can fight at a higher weight class and still be competitive? This is very simple, JT had a rematch contract signed and had chances to turn it around - now what does he have? Playing the victim or someone else doing it for him? He was the one who said Bernard had no reason to cry about verdicts and brought a doll for Hops to the second fight presser... He's cryin now and most still don't give a Damn.
SHOCKING????!!!!!! u have to be kidding or stupid...it was a close fight but FAR from SHOCKING..some people are so ridiculous
The problem with scoring fights that are close is that people will score 50/50 rounds to the fighter who is their favorite. That's why you've got some blindsighted people on here believing Pavlik won by a wide margin. Few people do this, but if a round can not be separated then its should be scored 10/10. Therefore I had last nights fight five rounds each with two even. 115 - 115. A draw.
Same here. I watched it from a distance on a computer monitor. It was kind of dark. My son was closer and he said even he couldn't tell if Pavlik was landing or if JT was slipping. Being the lighter of the two it was easier to tell when Pavlik got 'snapped' back. I was impressed by JT during the fight and even more after at the press conference. He said he thought he won but refused to say he was robbed because he knows what it feels like from some of his fights. Not that I'm just trying to bump this post for a link/torrent hint. :yep
