Pavlik vs. Ward

There's no need to kick a man when he's down. We all know that Pavlik could never beat Ward.

 

You know i never believed in Ward until last night , Pavlik is a MW Kessler with a weeker chin , on last nights eveidence Pavlik's getting knocked out .

 

Kessler is actually better than Pavlik. That's an easier fight for Ward than Kessler.

 

Its basicly a re run of last night with an earlier stoppage imo

 

Who would win in a Berto VS Sergio Martinez fight? Different weight classes, it doesn't matter.

 

who cares, until pavlik is in there with a top 10 guy again.....
but heres a hint...if a 43 year old slick boxer/puncher did that to KP, wtf do you think Ward would do to him?

 

Ward is a nightmare for Pavlik, and I say that as a Pavlik fan. Pavlik beats just about anybody who stands dead in front of him, but Ward has just too much movement and slipperiness.

Pavlik would be more willing to trade than Kessler, so it might be a bit more interesting a fight; but I think Ward wins a pretty lopsided decision.

 

They're only 1 weight class apart, and Ward actually started out at MW.

 

Pavlik has become a joke.

 

I don't think Ward stops him. Ward hit Kessler with pretty much everything he had and didn't really hurt Kessler. Pavlik is durable enough and Ward weak enough for this to go to the cards.

 

Name one. ("Pavlik is champ" is a troll and doesn't count.)

 

Before the Hopkins fight, most on this forum thought Pavlik could beat Dawson at 175. He may have been more hyped up than Kessler.

 

I have no idea whether that's true or not (I probably wouldn't have picked Pavlik over Dawson), but it's irrelevant anyway. The point was about Pavlik's fans now.
