Not a given. Pavlik throws a lot of punches 'with mustard' on them so this could reduce Pdub's work rate considerably.

its ****ing im ****ing possible for pavlik to force paul williams into a brawl.... that is the quickest possible way for paul williams to lose... at the end of the day... at the end of any and all game plans they would possibly create... its the stupidest thing he could do... and the quickest way he could lose... so why in the **** would he allow himself to get caught up into a brawl?

thats not something you can trick someone into doing.... you could trick someone into throwing a certain punch, or moving a certain direction... but to fight an ENTIRELY different way that doesnt support yourself one bit...

I might agree with you ... he is none of these things... so this brawl concept wont ever happen

 

Stupid? Or, maybe Paul will lack the physical strength and punching power it takes to keep Kelly off of him. That wouldn't make PW stupid, since bigger, stronger, harder punching guys couldn't keep Pav off them.

he is big enough to just ****ing clinch... you cant stop someone from ****ing clinching.... pavlik dont even walk people down like that anyways.... he moves at a slow yet gradual pace.... as opposed to someone like margarito who really will follow you everywhere around the ring..at a faster pace than pavlik.....

even if pavlik was that type of stalker paul will & can move around enough where and settle things down .....

**** does pavlik being bigger and stronger have to do with paul williams running around the ring all night on his bike....?

we all know pav can take a punch i remember watching pavlik eat some bombs from miranda a true mw, and pavlik just stand their and throw back i dont think willy can hit as hard as miranda

 

remember after the bronco mckart fight he said pavlik isnt the hardest hitter he has faced but he throws alot of punches and every one has something on it

You mentioned clinches. Have you seen what KP does when guys try to clinch and he does not want them there. Williams will get mauled.

It is probably impossible for you and I to be objective about these two, so let me put this is the most generic of terms.

Fighter A and Fighter B have very different styles, but they're roughly equal over all. Now you are saying that fighter A can make it his fight, but it would be impossible for fighter B to make it his fight. That is not logical.

 

****!! I barely knew who Pav was at that time, and tuned in to see my boy Bronco make progress with his come back effort. He'd already won 2 fights since coming out of retirement, and one of them was at 168! Before the fight McKart said, "This kid's never been past 9 rounds. I'm just gonna take him out in deep water and drown him." Made sense to me. After the fight, Bronco stood there all bleary eyed and shaky, and said, "It's not that he hits ya that hard. It's just that EVERYTHING he lands has sumpin' on it." Ya, I remember that!
