if pavlik ko's or tko's winky, he'd be the f-reakin man but its highly unlikely.. i think winky outboxes him and wins a decision

Exactly. People are forgetting there is a significant size advantage for Pavlik. Also not factoring in Winky's age and inactivity. In my eyes, Winky has been slowly declining since the Soliman fight and looked like an old fighter to me against Hopkins, regardless of the fight taking place above his natural weight class. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Pavlik stops him.

Not only is their a significant size advantage, Winky doesn't have power worth ****. I noticed in Winky's fight with Taylor, every time Taylor would press forward, he would back Winky and be able to land his right hand through Winky's guard. Of course the fight was competitive because Taylor would back up for no particular reason, when he shouldn't have. Pavlik has better ring smarts than Taylor and would press forward on Wright and be able to out muscle Wright on sheer might alone, and with Pavlik's power, Wright could be possibly koed.

As much as I would like to see this fight, I think Winky's ego gets in the way once again and he prices himself out.

Great. An allusion to a quote. You can't do a cut and paste or a link?:?

Yep! It's all over the main page. Arum needs to get this done come hell or high water. The ideal situation would be Pavlik/Wright with Abraham/Zuniga on the undercard on regular HBO. Follow that in September with Pavlik/Abraham on PPV. If Pavlik beats Winky and then AA, there isn't much left at 160. At least not anyone who belongs in the ring with Pavlik at this point.

    Don't hold your breath.

GL: Winky Wright has made it clear to me that he's ready, willing and able to fight Kelly on June 7. He feels that based on his resume and who he's fought that a fight between he and Kelly is far and away the most significant middleweight fight that can be made. How do you feel about that?

JL: "The thing with Winky Wright is, he needs to remember that we're the champ and he's not and is he going to be willing to move forward with our terms? Winky prices himself out of every fight, if he's coming to challenge us for our title, he's going to get the pecentage that a challenger does. He's probably going to want more money than Kelly would get and that would be the problem there."

In my opinion Arum and Team Pavlik need to look at factors other than money on this one. Pavlik beats Winky and becomes aboslutely THE ****ING MAN at 160. This is a legacy fight, and legacy seems to be important to Kelly Pavlik.
