if pavlik does not sustain any serious cuts - a likelihood with wards style - then it could be a very interesting affair. I like it. Props to both for making it happen!!

 

I'll change my tune & start saying things like "Pavlik by KO" & really feel he can do it soon enough. Your right about him being a former Champ with great experience against top fighters...as long as he's hungry again (& not thristy!) to make million$ again like he used to. If anything should drive him to be super clean & work his ass off this training camp, its the opportunity for big paydays.

Then sure, why couldn't Kelly catch him with a good right hand, & once hurt, KP knows how to finish. He's 6'-2 1/2" with a 75"reach, compared to Ward listed at 6'-0" & 71" reach. KP's got the leverage. All he has to do is find that chin one time. The rest will fall into place.

Listen to me...sounding like its 2007 again, & Pavliks getting ready for Miranda or Taylor.;-)

 

I'd like Pavlik to win but anything other than a late mercy stoppage or a wide UD for Ward would shock me. This is a mismatch, sadly.

 

Big time and I don't think he's really improved since the Hopkins beat down !

Ward is a younger and more talented fighter than Hopkins. Enough said.

 

Really fancy Ward for the stoppage here. Pavlik is a ****in shadow of himself.

Damn, did that put a smile on my face! I honestly thought KP was in big trouble going into this fight. The way Kelly pressured his ass from the get go surprised me, but he knew what he was doing. Kill or be killed. And Pavlik ate some solid rights from Miranda & didn't blink.

That's a cool vid, and that song fit him perfectly at that time. However, KP doesn't fight that way anymore. He's a lot smarter, a lot more patient, and a lot more refined. The last couple fights and recent work out video show that KP of today would come pretty close to pitching a shut out against that kid from 05-07.
