atsch So TAYLOR has a great jab good power and a very good right hand ! he is a very fast guy who beat an ALL TIME GREAT for the title and fought a good fight against a POUND for pounder ? So if this doesnt make him an elite fighter what does ?

 

I guess it depends what your criteria is, longevity, class of opponent (hopkins and wright notwithstanding), all round skill, heart etc etc, Im not saying Taylor is ****, I PERSONALLY dont think he is an ELITE fighter, but saying that, Im probably comparing him to other eras and not so much to todays, in todays comp, I suppose I could concede he is elite, or as I would put it, top tier.

 

Like I said before, this aint no hate thread, I had a bet on Pavlik winning for starters, love the way he fights, like I said in a reply to someone else, im probably comparing taylor too much to other generation fighters, but anyway, I also agree that kelly will improve, but at the moment I think that if you really used your boxing brain (something I think taylor lacks) you would outbox kelly

It seems that people are now under the impression that Kelly is just a power puncher. Can't anyone see that this guy can box also? Your not gonna outbox KP & like the above poster said, you'd have to be nuts getting in there with him.

Daammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm a lot of Pavlik Hugger here man , this guy is now crowned the most overhyped fighter in ESB beating fighter like Kessler, Povetkin and a few others. They are compraing one lucky punch win against greats like Hagler and TRinidad give me a break. Just like any boxer that had the sile like tito, Pavlik, are always overated because of exiting stiles, not because of elite boxing skill.
