I was on this forum in the wee hours of the morning following the JC vs BH fight & was totally amazed, surprised & very happy to see all the comments saying after what they just witnessed, there is no doubt that Pavlik would KO Calazghe.

Maybe someone will remember my comment that "its good the see people finally making some sense around here."

The Slapper vs the Banger can only finish one way. Calazghe fans think he's so smart, figuring out his opposition. Once Kelly figures out that worms style, he'll need the paramedics. If Hopkins can put him on his butt with a short right hand, think of what happens when KP lands with full leaverage.

You're so biased towards Pavlik its comical. By your logic, since an average punching quite fast MIDDLE WEIGHT can come within a whisker of obliterating your boy then Calzaghe will obviously annihilate him.

I like Kelly Pavlik a lot but this is possibly the funniest over reaction I have seen on these boards in almost 5 years of being on here.

I will bet the first poster to accept a $500 bet that Calzaghe beats Pavlik.
I really hope that Pavlik is the fight made for Joe as it would be the easiest fight for him, he would shut up the dopey band wagon jumpers, and retire in a fashion with another credible name on his record (until his fan boys leave him...saying that he was overhyped)

Joe Calzaghe is the truth, he does not lose especially not to a one dimensional plodder like Pavlik.

When I was a kid, Pavlik would have been the 5th best Middleweight in the U.K., so I doubt he would have a a World contender.

 

So a middleweight is going to be the first man to stop the best SMW/LHW around who has never been close to being KO'd:think
