George Peterson has said this BEFORE the fight with Martinez. He has made it clear that he didn't want to deal with them, as they already owe his camp a lot of money for the camps they set up.

lol , you are so bias... I am a PW fan, love the way he fights... but take a good look at him after that fight... even his demeanor and face showed that he was a battered and beaten man.

So are you saying Paul should take smaller fights for less money this year because he lost some money last year? How much sense does that make?

if you are being serious with me and yourself than you know damn well that

    1. paul could make career high paydays fighting pac, pbf, and ssm at 147 and

    2. that none of those three fights will ever happen. period. ever.

additionally, i'm not talking about belts when i say beat pavlik and become the mw king. belts or no belts pav is the king of the mw division. you may see that as an indictment of the mw division and how thin it is but it doesnt change the fact that pav is the king. it doesnt change the fact that paul would make a career payday fighting him.

you can't sit there and say that pw would whip pavlik knowing that he would cement his spot as a top p4p guy and mw king AND make a career high payday like its easy to do only to then dismiss the fight by saying "he tried that last year." or should i say...."dat **** is dead nahim sayin" :D

the two arguments are mutually exclusive and it sounds kind of ignorant to say.....break it down and think about what you are saying...

    1. paul would box circles around kelly for a late stoppage or wide ud (your thoughts from your previous posts).

    2. paul would get a career high payday in this very easy fight

    3. paul would cement his status as a to p4p fighter in this very easy fight

    4. paul would become the mw king after this very easy fight

but screw that...i was stood up at the prom last year so now that the girl is bending over right in front of me a few months later begging for it...i'm gonna keep it in my pants. come on now

Dont blame paul for the fight not happen blame the ghost when you ***** foot around and cancel two fights over stomach cramps or PMS you cant expect people to want to make fights with you because who to say it wont happen again. Pavikated is what happen to pavilk after the b hop fight. Bhop destroyed him then gave him a lecture after the fight that was classic

I guess after he beats some bum he wants to world to overlook that he got destoyed by b hop and backed out of two fights with PW. Maybe he has come to terms that nobody is going to pay for PPV to watch him slug it out with some dude that they found off the streets hours before. I dont know what it is but im not impressed and im not paying for it

Pavlik NEVER "pulled out." He asked for more time to deal with the hand issues. The difference is clear to anyone who has at least two brain cells to rub together.

What the **** does Hopkins have to do with anything? That fight is about as relevant as PW losing to Quintana. The fact that you even mention it shows how completely out of touch with reality you are.

Pavlik was an accomplished amatuer who won multiple national titles, and made the olympic trials at age 17.

As a pro he beat the #3 contender, and then the number #2 contender, and then agreed to $750K, agreed to a rematch clause, and gave Haymon options on his next two fights just to get a shot at the the middleweight champ.

When he got his shot, at age 25, he became just the 5th man in history to win the linear middleweight championship while still undefeated. No fighter has lasted more than 9 rounds with him at 160. Sorry ****-wit, but ya just don't do that on hype.

Williams got his face busted up and got battered around the ring by a light-middle with a 50% KO ratio against questionable opposition. As a result Goosen is scared to let Pavlik near his boy.

I'll break it down from a business percpective!!! What I would do!!

Although PW may have this "career high payday" fighting Pavlik the long term(fight in the MW division) will be bad for his career! If PW was to beat KP he would have no shot at fighting any WW! At this point of his career the top guy's are steering clear of him so imagine what would they do if he beats a "power" puncher like KP!

That's why in my post I said "make some noise by any means necessary".
The problem I see with PW is that his whole marketing scheme is way too passive! Even when Paul called guy's out he did it with respect when asked by an interviewer, he would ask/request to fight a PBF, SSM, KP, Cotto, Margarito, ect........

If Paul was a little more disrespectfull and cocky he would start to gain more of a fan base either to see him win or see him lose! ex: PBF, Mayorga, RJJ, Tyson, Froch ect.... PS: I don't like Froch but I'll pay to see him lose!

Honestly I think if PW beats KP it will actually hurt his career than help it cause after KP the MW division has no money to offer and he will be totally iced out of the WW division leaving him to fight at SMW!:nono or at JMW(no money in that division right now).

Personally I would fight at WW if I'm lookin for a true "career high Payday"!!

more support in favor of your belief that pavlik would be easy for paul...yet the fight is not happening :think

you would think camp williams watched a replay of the fight and thought, "damn this is an easy easy payday and we get the mw crown." but for some reason that doesnt seem to be the case. instead the talk is of 147 with no one in particular in mind b/c no one there will touch him and cintron at 154...:huh

I was a KP fan when he beat Miranda and JT twice but after that I expected so much more of him and he has done nothing but been disappointment to me and all of us boxing fans!!!!

There are a couple fans on ESB who are holding onto his career accomplishments!:-( but they'll soon realize!

Hopefully its by UD instead of KO for their sake!:yep
