It's a great matchup. After Williams dominated Wright the way that he did I really think he has a chance to win, but I wonder what happens when Pavlik gets to him.

That's very possible. But it also wouldn't shock me if PW dominates Pavlik and knocks him out using his superior hand speed, reach and work rate to get off first and move out of the way before Pavlik resets.

Like i said, this fight will answer a lot of questions for both fighters.

this fight will be a helluva lot of fun while it lasts. i know pwilly has some ardent fans on here who are also good posters and are good for an honest debate but i just don't see pwilly being able to take pav's power all night. he may take a few early on but i just can't see him being able to do it all night.

i feel this is a lot like the pav/jt fight was for me (at least the first one). i obviously wanted pav to win but i really like jt so while i was happy that pav won...i also felt bad for jt. i think i'll feel the same way after this fight should it happen. i will be happy for pav but feel bad for pwilly b/c i like him as well.

PW doesn't fight completely flat footed like JT. He can move a little and reset. Plus, JT fought Pavlik before Pavlik lost to Hopkins and Hopkins showed that if you force Pavlik to reset and don't stay in front of him, you make it harder for him to land his 1-2.

no pwilly and jt are not the same fighter, i agree w/ ya there klion. what i meant was for me personally the fight will be like the jt fight b/c while i pull for pav, i also like the fighter i think is gonna lose by ko. i wanted pav to win against jt but when he did i felt bad seeing jt out like that an i can see me having the same feelings after the pwilly fight.

I'm excited about this fight as well. This will be Williams' first test against a legit puncher. If he can handle Kelly's power it could get real interesting. I'm glad this fight is about to happen both guys need it and it's just what the MW division needed.:good

Great matchup. If Williams fights smartly, I think he can grab a decision.

He will prove you wrong imo! Williams will have too much for Pavlik. Paul is a southpaw, 6'2, has an unreal reach for a guy of his size, is a banger. He will beat Pavlik quite comprehensively in my view!

If this one happens, I'll say right now that after the bout the shortlist to face Williams will be even shorter!

Wow, He is going to Kayo Paul "145 3/4" Williams.

To All KP fans, Kelly will just beat up another 147-154 pounder that's all this will add to his legacy. Funny how they are so firm with Allen Green that they want to fight at 160 but they don't care if it's actually a middleweight they are fighting.

Williams wants to fight Pavlik. It's goosen and hayman that is being greedy. Man come on goosen take the 1.5 offer it's the fight everybody wants to see Pavlik vs Williams. Man i hope it happens. The last time i feel Williams can win a big big fight is when Williams beat Margarito. I feel i can make it 2 in a row.

I think this would be close to the fight of the year. I just dont see it going real long. PW may hit Pav alot, but there isnt enough behind them to get Pavs respect. A couple of double ****in jabs and right down the middle and it will be nighty night for PW.

I'll trust NBA that if this doesn't happen, it won't be because of Pdub.
