Pavlik/Williams is Close

    I think the holdup has been Heymon and Goosen. By all reports they felt that had a guaranteed HBO date in October which would pay Williams a decent amount and they felt they could ask for the moon for a Pavlik fight knowing they had a less riskier guarantee in their back pocket.

    Hopefully HBO told them to negotiate in good faith or there wouldn't be a fall date for either of them.

    I don't see what reason you have for hating PW so much. Do you really think he is scared of Pavlik? If he wasn't scared of and was willing to fight Margarito (prior to Mosley, when Margo was one of most feared in boxing), then I doubt he's scared of Pavlik. Williams isn't the one being the douche about this fight, Goosen is.

    Dude face it "pavlik is champ" is a stupid biased Pavlik fan that will defend Pavlik in every step of the way. I bet this guy loves Pavlik more then himself.
