    Sturm for me. I'm not out for some sort of grudge match. I want a decent bout and to see Kelly pick up another strap.

    If the fight was a draw I would not have been upset cause I felt Martinez fought a tremendous fight!! But I,m glad PDub got the nod!:hey

    Shouldn't this poll be multiple choice, boo?

    ie, Williams-Martinez II and Pavlik-Sturm aren't mutually exclusive. One is not an alternative to the other, in fact one being made increases the likelihood of the other.

    Yep -- I do not see Williams as that much of a challenge. I used to feel differently, but PW had a hell of a time with Sergio's power, and Sergio is not a banger.

    Sturm is a legit middleweight who gets seriously under rated on this board. He has managed to hold a title at 160 for the vast majority of the last 6 years.

    I'd like to see KP unify the division. Only 4 other men in history have unified 160, and only 3 others won the true middleweight championship while still undefeated.

    All of them really.

    But I'd really settle for Pavlik-Sturm since they both are established MWs.

    Pavlik-Williams is just as good.

    I'd like to see a Williams/Martinez rematch at 154 with no controversey.

    PW went through a lot with the on/off, on/off Pavlik fight. He ended up fighting someone with a completely different style on relatively short notice.

    Martinez was also looking for a Pavlik fight, but ended up fighting Williams on short notice.

    In my opinion neither guy belongs at 160. 154 is the best division for both.

    This situation is screaming for a rematch at 154 with plenty of prep time for both fighters.

    How about this, A double header Pavlik vs Martinez with Williams vs Sturm a week later and who ever wins face each other for the unify middleweight championship. <<<To me that makes sense. I mean lets face it the biggest fight in the middleweight division is Pavlik vs Williams. So if Williams beat Sturm and Pavlik beat Martinez then it be Williams vs Pavlik for the unify middleweight championship with a guaranteed 50/50 split.

    :lol: @ you wanting so badly for martinez to "embarass" pavlik to boost williams. martinez just lost. it is a no win situation for pavlik. he wins, he just beat up williams' leftovers. he loses (less likely imo), then he's a joke. if anyone should have first crack at sturm's belt, it should be the champ. there is your unification. if martinez wants pavlik, then he can beat williams in a rematch. i think pav beats all three but that seems a little more fair to me.

    I want SM/KP too! I wanna see how good KP is against world class competition at this stage of his career!!

    Your right it is a lose/lose for Pavlik!!:yep

    Plus skill wise KP is gonna have major problems!
