Pavlik/Williams/Sturm/Martinez: The Silence Is Deafening!

That, I agree with. The reason I think the fight is more dangerous than alot of people is this..... although I don't think he can stand up to KP's power for 12 rds, it seems he and his team made some real astute adjustments during his fight with Williams. I could see him, late in the fight, while in full survival mode, land a few telling blows that could get KP's attention. That may or may not change the fight, but 1 thing is for sure, he will be the best opponent KP has had in a while and he may have some ad******g to do as well.

 

In german newspapers Sturm said today that he is willing to fight Pavlik in May/June in Cologne/Germany.

He´s at 192 pounds right now and has to make weight, but there will be first negotiations with Pavlik this month. Roach is willing to come to germany to prepare him.

How could you say no rematch for Margarito yet Team Williams offered Margarito 4 million for a rematch and Margo decided to fight Shane Mosley for half that instead!

So if he's healed then he should step his competition up! Find an A-level boxer and make the fight happen don't worry about PW cause he's doing what he suppose to in and out the ring!!

As for PW, he just fought a great fight with an A-level opponent and won!

Pavlik's as a champion is a disappointment!

 

sturm has a new 10 fight deal in germany so he won't be wasting all that money fighting kelly anytime soon,

martinez and winky already lost to williams so why wouldnt kelly want to step up his competition and fight the guy who beat both of them?

is paul not a step up in competition from rubio and espino??

He is a step up but he needs some time off to heal and instead of KP waiting for PW he should go test his skills on a higher level opponent! Personally I think either Winky or Sergio is a step up to Pavliks most recent opponents!

It would be great if KP would fight Bute or even a Allen Green at 164 but I wouldn't recommend that for KP's health!

PW has proven that he go gets the good fights so why dosen't KP?!

If KP's all healthy he should have no problem fighting a little above 160 in a non title fight just for his fans!

I can't talk for others but the one thing I can say is that I don't care about titles at all I like good fights! Thats why I respect PW so much because he chases fighters not titles!!

The point I'm making is that if KP continues defending his titles against C and D level competition then he is not a "true champion"! At some point in a boxers career he has to take risk but I think Kelly Pavlik and his fans are content with his most recent actions and although it is thin in the MW division he should just sit there and pick off bums!!

KP reminds me of a person who is scared to leave their house because he may never come home! I don't care how many belts you have cause KP is not doing championship things with his career!!
