Pavlik/Winky: Winky Wants it!!

Do you think Winky will be the agressor against Pavlik?

 

If Winky stays on the outside and in Pavlik's range, he may not have the footwork anymore to move away from Pavlik and get inside quickly enough to counter him with punches.

Winky might have to use his guard to protect himself, step inside Pavlik's punching range, and stay there responding with his own punches.

I think that Winky has enough fight, experience, and toughness in him to bravely step within Pavlik's punching range and make this a dogfight. His defense will make it difficult for Pavlik to get through his guard early on in the fight.

 

Winky will price himself out of the fight as usual.

 

kid, winky wright has a better defence than any fighter pavlik has faced, he is more accurate than any other fighter. winky wright at 160 is on another level compared to kelly pavlik, at 160 winky has never lost a fight. winky won't need to hold against pavlik, you are trying to compare bernard hopkins style to kelly pavliks, that just shows how little you know about the sport.

Wright has never faced a middleweight with the power and size Kelly has. Kelly has shown he can go 12 rounds against good fighters and contine throwing punches.

Wright was a great fighter but is not in his prime like Kelly thus the Ghost wins if they fought.

 

Prime for Prime Winky would give him a boxing lesson but the current Winky has no legs and has been inactive with Wright's underrated toughness he'll go 12 rounds and lose a decision.

 

Thanks. I do feel Kelly will hurt Winky but he will not be stopped. Winky is a strong willed fighter.
