Pavlik would be beaten by Williams or Martinez!

Williams gets KTFO. The reason he stayed competitive with Martinez is because of his height and reach and because he has a decent enough chin and Martinez is sort of a light puncher.

This allowed him to dodge some shots purely on height while moving his torso back. His reach allowed him to get back at the slick Martinez. Pavlik, although one dimensional (as is Williams) is William's size and is a power puncher. I really want to see WIlliams in with a power puncher that is his size. With that defense he has, I don't know how he'll deal with them.

 

Pavlik has sledgehammers. I think Martinez may give Pavlik a harder time than PWill.

what you're missing is that PAvlik has more power than williams and martinez combined. if pavlik landed some of those shots martinez did he heeda ktfo williams

Now dont compare Pavlik's power with Martinez or Williams. If Pavlik landed his punch the same way both Williams and Martinez did to each other, i dont think they'd still be standing.

Pavlik may had power but could he handle what was coming back at him is the question. Keep in mind either of these guys had time to really get ready for one another. I knew that the Pavlik fans would jump on this, but the fact remains wasnt Pavlik suppose to fight tonight??? Were was he??? Didnt Arum Say that he was going to fight AA??? What happened??? Here is two top fighters fighting eachother and Pavlik is fighting yet another bum in a long list of bums that he has fought thoughout his career.

Both could possibly. Martinez moves alot and would find pavlik, but i don't think he would hurt kelly. Kelly's punches could very well have more effect
on martinez and williams. Also, pavlik throws alot of punches to. These guys might not need pavlik either now that they have each other.

If he took flush bombs from Taylor at 160 and Hopkins at 175 he'll take Paul's best shot anyday. Ditto for Martinez.

Paul is not a hard target. Pavlik finds him. Pavlik knocks him out. I'd like to see the fight but just saying.

 

Both of these two are way too fast and unorthodox for Pavlik. He gets slaughtered.

 

Williams has some weaknesses, but he has shown that his defensive skills is amazing and on the same level as Mayweather. It's just really difficult to hit him clean. His weaknesses are that he often telegraphs his punches, he doesn't use his height, and he's not great at counter punching. Otherwise he is a complete fighter and I think he has a good chance at beating anybody from any weight class all the way up to light heavyweight just based on his skill, his stamina, and his ability to take a punch.
