Pavlik would DESTROY Roy Jones!

    Please don't fool yourselves into thinking otherwise. I've seen a few posts today saying Jones might be able to win.....He Can't! Pavlik is Roy Jones's worst ****ing nightmare. Just sit down and think in a quiet place right for a while about how you would see this fight playing out. Pavlik is arguably bigger then Hopkins! He is much stronger then Tito and at this point, much better. He has way too high of a workrate, Jones would tire and we saw what happened to Taylor in the first fight when he got worn down. Also and most importantly. There are few that are better then Pavlik at punishing his opponent against the ropes. He stays composed, keeps a perfect distance and throws sharp accurate punches.....Jones would be slaughtered :deal

    we're talking the current version of RJJ right? because it would be glencoffe all over again.

    prime RJJ ****ing mashes pavlik into the middle of next year.

    I still think this RJJ would do better than alot of ppl think against Pavlik. Whetehr he would win or lose he definately wouldnt get KOed

    Yes. Absolutely the current Roy Jones. Prime Roy easily beats Kelly, possibly stops him if he comes to the ring pissed off.

    I think that RJJ at anytime during his career is dangerous for Pavlik. I think that RJJ would win by UD and maybe knock Pavlik down a few times. RJJ has a great jab and a forever fast right hand. Pavlik showed that he's not all there as far as his ceiling and his peak potential. I think now Pavlik would have a difficult time with RJJ and would run the risk of getting knocked out.

    RJJ lost his legs some years ago and found himself up against the ropes many a time vs. tito. being pressed up against the ropes is the single worst place to be against pavlik and he is very good at picking his shots in that situation and throws them with real venom.

    yes there is always a chance RJJ will catch KP with a counter and hurt him as his handspeed is still other worldly but pavlik will simply walk him down and take him out eventually.

    I think it would be an entertaining & competitive fight , Roy still has good speed and conditioning , could'nt see RJJ making 160 though , he looked a bit thin against tito.

    As much as i'd like to disagree with you being a big Jones fan i have to admit that he has not shot beating Pavlik today. Taylor maybe, but not Pavlik.
