beat the **** out of Kessler.

What does Kessler bring to the table? He'll get backed up and knocked out.

    Taylor would school Kessler.

Kessler has overrated power and brings nothing to the table except for a 1-2.

Pavlik probably has reach and height on him too.

    Kessler isn't that special.

Very doubtful. If he beat him, it wouldn't be easy.

It wouldn't be easy, but eventually Kessler would be backed up into a corner and knocked out.

    Who has Kessler even fought?

Honestly, I think the supermiddleweight division is overrated.

kessler got a 1-2, pavlik got a 1-2(what shoock taylor), every boxer got a 1-2 thats the basic combo u learn in the amaturs...anyway, kessler is not as weak as u think, everyone nuthuggs pavlik b'c he just beat taylor, hell I even did it, but reality is every fighter is a new challange, u cant just say that one fighter is gonna get f'ed up by another b'c of their previous records and what u think u saw on tv, kessler is a tough cookie and would pose a difficult challange to pavlik...IMO

Kessler outbox both of them decisively. He is a lot more refined and fundamentally sound than Taylor with at least as much athletic ability and better stamina. He doesn't have great power but neither does Taylor and he still had Pavlik on ***** street. What category is Taylor superior to Kessler in? I think Kessler is overrated to a degree but he has better skills and more physical talent than Taylor and Pavlik

Kessler doesn't have much head movement and that means he can get hurt by a good right hand.

Who had Pavlik fought before last night? Kessler doesn't have a great resume but he has the style and physical ability to defeat Pavlik decisively. A resume doesn't win you fights

I disagree. I think that Taylor hits harder than Kessler and probably just as hard as Pavlik, and that Taylor has much more athletic ability than Kessler.

Taylor has better defence and quickness. Kessler has better ring generalship.

Based on what though? Having seen both of them fight a number of times Kessler has at least as much hand speed and much better punching technique. Taylor's "bow and arrow" right hand is not nearly as quick or accurate as Kessler's right and his jab can be very good but has often disappeared for long stretches against quality opposition. It isn't nearly as consistent or effective as Kessler's

Taylor's power or at least his ability to effectively deliver it has always been severely overrated. He's never KO'd anyone of note. Not that Kessler has either but the best opponent Taylor's stopped was Raul Marquez who was well past his prime and been knocked out a several times at lower weights

Kessler would beat the **** out of Pavlik and wouldn't lose a round in the process.

How is he gonna win every round without getting hit back with right hands?
