What happened to just owning up to the fact that the better man won?

Does he want a rematch? :rofl I don't think Bhop would mind as he would get to try stopping him before the final bell earlier this time.

the article simply says he admitted he took antibiotics...it does not say that is why he lost...not ONE paster in this forum would hold that info in til death after they got pounded on...he didnt sday **** about it after the fight...now u simpletons act like he is running around whining...he was sick...he would have lost anyway but the guy has all the right in the world to say he was sick

Agreed. He is a more complete and fluid fighter than is Pavlik, at least for now. I didn't used to be a big fan but I have come to respect Abraham a lot more.

I still don't know if he beats Pavlik straight-up, but he is a better all-around fighter than is Kelly, at least for now.

I hate when fighters do this ****. When you step in the ring, there are no excuses. Everything is settled between the ropes and of you get your ass kicked, you get your ass kicked. I don't care what you were taking or if you had a cold, or **** all else. He and his camp underestimated Bernard and they paid a large price. **** this damage control bull****.

Why do I have the suspicion you're a little idol worshipping teenage fanboy? Maybe the name pauliemayweather gives it away. Listen, I like Pavlik as much as anoybody but he doesn't have the tools or the the style to beat Hopkins. He got outclassed by a superior fighter. Plain and simple, no excuses. He didn't even win 1 round! :patsch

Don't forget, after McCline, Peter in his post fight interview said that both his hands were broken too. :rofl

Then he got served by VK only to disappear into the abyss. Excuses make things worse than they already are because they allow the fighter to not acknowledge where they went wrong and what needs to be worked on.

They are obviously going to feed Pavlik soft touches that he can beat impressively from here on out and try to build up his hype again.

HBO needs a fighter like Pavlik. All they have to do is keep him away from any fundametally good fighters

I know I watched the ****ing fight...I am not saying he would have won but if he was sick there is nothing wrong with letting a reporter know that u ****ing idiot...i am not a KP fanboy so u dont have to sit here and tell the forum how KP felt before the fight because you have no ****ing idea how he fely before the fight...he could have said it right after the fight and tainted hopkins moment but he had enough respect t let him enjoy the win...and yeah i like malignaggi...he fought ten rds with a broken jaw and didnt use that as an excuse...but i suppose u could do that right from ur keyboard right

I never said Abraham was BHop. He isn't, not even close.

JT vs Abraham? Gotta lean with Abraham on that one. JT's bigger, but Abraham is a much sounder fighter, technically. It would be an interesting fight. And even though AA isn't the hardest MW puncher ever, he will blow you up if you leave your chin out there. Ask Miranda.
