No need to complicate the issue...Kelly Pavlik is not a fast fighter which ever way you want to spin it.
You are entitled to your opinion. Damned you guys on that large island seem to be taking exception with me today. You another Mundane fan thinking your boy would school Kelly because he jumps around like a flea or something?
I do think his handspeed is underrated and not as bad as you make it out to be. He'll sure as hell be landing on PW. Pavlik is what i'd define as a "heavy" puncher. George Foreman never had much handspeed but when he touched you he hurt you. Pavlik is the same way imo, definitely at 160.
Mundine would school and embarrass Pavlik...... On fight night 4... On 2 player when no one is controlling Kelly I have no problem with you pal...Just this is one aspect of Pavlik you really cant defend, so Im not sure why you are going to so much trouble with your E = Mc2 talk.
Believe what you want. Kelly is the linear MW champ but couldn't get out of the way of an on coming snail...... atsch
See this is where your creditability falls apart. I never said that...I never even came close to inferring that. For you its black and white...Anything positive about Kelly is fine, even if its stretching the truth. Anything negative is hating. Obviously no in between for you. All this unnecessary defending and over the top statements reeks of pure nuthugging my friend.
Yeah. Whatever you say. It must be fact because YOU said it. I understand completely. Let's move on.....
They're just saying his hand speed is merely average when compared to the elite spectrum. How are you not accepting that? I haven't seen anything about his ability to get out of the way of anything. I'm not gonna go there.
Ok, fine. Why not. Which one is it? Do you accept that relatively speaking he is slow? Or is it outrageous to suggest that he may be?
Kelly didn't out box Jermain Taylor by being slow. He simply could not have. No one ever said he was top of the heap, but he is far from the bottom.
It's not hugely fast thats for sure. The interesting thing is when I was watching the buildup and it showed him hitting a heavy bag he was surprisingly fast. When there is an opponent infront of him it turns to ****.
His handspeed used to be better. I saw his 1st fight a little while ago which was at 154 and his hands looked surprising quick. They looked prety damn quick against Lockett as well. I don't know why he's slowed down so much in his most recent bouts. :conf
