Martinez is a very good fighter. I still think Pavlik's a very good fighter. I don't think Martinez beat Pavlik 10/10 times and I'm pretty sure it would have been a much closer fight without the cut.

Let's not give Martinez undue credit for doing what a fighter is meant to do when they open a cut on their opponent. Let's not penalise Kelly for feeling he'd have won without the cut. He's entitled to his opinion, which is much better informed than any of you jackasses' opinions.

A loss on ESB basically means you get thrown away forever more. Very sad.

What relelvance does this have? So Martinez beat Pavlik by a round more and more clearly than some people felt he beat Martinez. What the **** does it matter? It was a competitive fight, with a close result. It was not a shut-out. It was not a thrashing. Martinez showed he was the better man, but let's not pretend the two are on different planets.

A good 4 or 5 rounds? I'd like to see your scorecard if you had it wider than 115-111.

Uhhh.. if you can't see the difference between those two fights and the clear skill difference between a plodding Pavlik to a quick in and out guy like Martinez, you need to pick a new sport to "analyse."
