Pavlik's a lot better than people think. And DeGale isn't seasoned enough to deal with him yet. Warren's only asking because he knows Pavlik's a recovering alcoholic and won't take the fight. Then he'll say Pavlik didn't want the fight.

    Load of ****.

Degale is hardly better then the Jermaine Taylor that beat Hopkins is he?

Yes Pav is having his problems but he spars slick and fast fighters all the time and DeGale is not at all a well experience pro. He well not have been put udner the pressure he will be under once a good Pavlik shot lands.

Pavlik would be a big step up for Degale .He's got a good boxer style though but Pavlik would be dangerous .He goes forward in straight lines but he's solid . He'd have the power to spark Degale .I liked him when he was an undefeated middleweight before the Hopkins fight .If Degale was to stand and trade with him he'd get beat I think .Remember Lockett lol .

Great point. However, I think Degale does have a chance, and this shot would propel him to massive places.

The main thing that would concern me is James has not shown that Martinez/Hopkins type ability to diffuse a fighter with footwork. If he comes forward in straight lines relying on his upper body movement and reflexes he gives Pavlik a lot of opportunities.

Aside from that its not viable on any level.

  13. Putting a 9 fight novice in with an ex world champ like Pavlik is crazy... No matter how good they are... Degale has loads of time, and the potential beating that Pavlik could hand out to him at this stage of his career could finish him. Theres no ****ing way warren would let him take on Pavlik in his next fight. He's full of ****.

Frank will now make a 50k offer and when they refuse, tell the world of the duck.

Pavlik's manager asking for 3 or 4 mil is a serious as Frank suggesting he'd make the fight right now.

Would be really tough for DeGale.
