    It's a gutsy choice, high risk/low reward. On May 7th Pavlik will face undefeated LHW contender Alfonso Lopez at 170 pounds.

    This will be the biggest fighter Pavlik ever faced. His highest ever weigh in weight was 184 pounds. He's undefeated in 21 fights, and has 16 knock outs.

    Last time I heard this, was when Margarito came back against Robert Garcia, only he pretty much dominated the fight.

    Who has seen a few of Lopez's fights. He could be a tough fighter or he could be journeyman with a padded record. Unless you've actually watched him fight, your opinion is worthless.

    glad its at 170. he needs to be tested and from the vids ive seen lopez will be more than a glorified sparring session. hes a big kid.

    Pavlik's bread and butter are guys that stand in front of him and trade - at that he is one of the best I think. Honestly, I expect Pavlik to win and look good doing so.

    Maybe by "staff infection" he means that the janitors will infect Pavlik with some disease they are carrying. I heard the janitors in Youngstown all have scurvy...:tired

    Sounds like Pavlik must be feeling realy good now that he kicked his demon.

    Cant wait to see how he performs.He sounds determine in inerviews to get back on top.
