i was surprised when dawson said he could come down to 168, he looks like a pretty decent sized light heavy but if he could make it happen it'd be huge
funny, i never understood the move up. in 2005 he was fighting at 160 he had no problem with the weight at 168. against medoza his like fifth fight at 175 he comes in weighing 172 and i heard he was very light in camp and had to come up to that. Then before he even starts the training camp for tarver he goes on btalk and states he was already at fighting weight.
\ huh, i was not aware of that...how rapidly he moved up in weight. i'm just worried he'd have to lose 7 pounds of muscle to fight a guy who relies on pressure and constant offense.

I'll be perfectly honest. I wouldn't know what to expect in that fight. I remember in Dawson's last fight he was pretty calculated and cautious. Kelly would make him work. Would be the proverbial 'clash of styles'.
I think this interview was in pretty comfortable surroundings and he was being interviewed by someone he knew. It all SOUNDED pretty relaxed and on the level.
