Damn he hits hard, he doesn't even have to hit guys on the button to wobble them. Locket was game tonight, certainly not at the same level but he was there to fight. The man can flat out punch without having to sit down on his shots. Another thing I found impressive again was Kelly's ability to control the distance of the fight with his jab and footwork.
If managed right, he will go far. Getting better with each fight and has already been in with world class fighters.

this isn't a thread where one boxer is trashed and another is unnecessarily promoted...but...can joe wales hit like taylor or miranda can? despite the weight difference I don't think he can. Look at the tapes. Taylor hit Pav with shots that would drop anyone w/in 5 weight classes of him I know Pav is straight forward but I don't see Joe C throwing anything Pav can't eat and walk through. Any thoughts
Pavlik does not have speed but he is the definition of heavy handed. He hurt Lockett through his guard. He gets stronger as the fight goes on as well.
