Hopkins can still put up a decent fight. He just gave the p4p no 2 a run for his money. Roy Jones hasn't won a competitive fight in over 4 years, has been ktfo twice, and outpointed as well. RJJ is shot to smithereens.

 

It's going to be funny when Hopkins knocks out Pavlik, I'd rather have seen Kessler fight Pavlik, as Kessler would dismantle him within 2 rounds, being much slicker, stronger, more durable and technically a lot better, but to lose to Hopkins, who will have diminished a hell of a lot more since the Calzaghe fight, ( Hopkins was also in a 1 off frame of mind, in tip top shape as he knew he was fighting a legend, with Pavlik, it's just another hyped boxer, the motivation isn't the same)
As for Calzaghe ducking Pavlik? shouldn't Pavlik have jumped at the chance instead of wait for 2 fights , and the Jone's deal going through.... I guess its easy too talk trash when he knows Joe would like to retire and Jone's is clearly a more dangerous man than he will ever be, Joe should retire after Jone's, if people make age excuses for Hopkins and already jones, why should Joe have to face a clearly inferior boxer 10yrs his junior? Let kessler do the job on him, or even Carl Froch! then there will be no question mark over Joe, and he won't give Pavlik his biggest boxing day ever.
