You base that on what? Bernard's stamina or punch output?

This may be wishful thinking. If he was fighting some one old or had some other advantage I could believe it. But Pavlik has too much and the Calzaghe fight took a lot out of Bernard.

Hopkins is not a quitter. He's also a defensive master with a very, very good chin.

I can't envisage him getting stopped.

I think he'll pull it out and win by UD and prove a lot of people wrong again, like the Trinidad fight, Tarver etc.

No, I base that on Bernard's skills and the fight weight limit of 170 where Pavlik has never fought

Fought Vincent Harris weighing 169 with Harris weighing 168 in 2005 and fought Eric Olds weighing 169 and Olds weighing 170 in 2002. Boxrec is your friend and my friend here.

No, that's thinking realistically. How, exactly, did the Calzaghe fight "take alot out of Hopkins?"

So what?, he still fought at the weight, it's not his first time moving up, pretty much like Miranda.

Have you ever seen Hopkins act the ***** like he did late in the Calzaghe fight?

All the breaks and time buying he created by faking the fouls showed he was breaking down physically and mentally. Hopkins went to the wrong corner four times. Even Freddie Roach his trainer agrees with this.

With Kelly throwing at the same rate as Joe, but hitting harder, what do you think will happen to Bernard?

I'm not questioning Bernard's skills, just his ability to apply them for 12 rounds at a good pace. I feel that will be the difference in this fight.
