    what youve been smoking..?

mora is in the shittiest of the shittiest division, he beat forrest who is a has been. even the hw division outshines jmw by a mile.

manfredo might not be world champion, but nevertheless mora got a gift decision against him in their 2 fight, that says alot regarding mora.

and by the way put forrest and mora in the 168 div, and let em fight sartison, and look a them being humiliated.

You Eur-O-peans are jokes putting down a real man in Pavlik in favor of your gutless pretty boy champs from the old countries. Now there is nothing wrong with Kessler taking a tune up after a loss with Sertison or Calzaghe fighting a hype money fight with Manfredo those showcase bouts that help build a fighter up:bart but More is clearly better then both those men He is 154 pound champ fools:tong
The difference between Pavlik and Calzaghe is it took Joe 20 years to fight 3 elite fighters in Lacy,Kessler and Hopkins the rest were at level of Mora, Duddy and Rubio as Joe was is a lazy basterd:yep Now look at Pavlik Busy! Busy! Busy! He is trying get a fight with Calzaghe, He all ready has a fight with Abraham set up and is one by one taking all the top guys at 160 in Mora, Duddy, Rubio:deal

    The top guys at 160?

    Mora is not even 160.
Duddy and Rubio would not even be top 20 in SMW or any other reasonably deep division.

    Abraham - yes.
Mundine and Winky too. But that is where it stops. There is currently noone else at MW worth fighting for Pavlik if he wants to be taken seriously.

Having said that I actually think he knows this and is willing to fight whomever. I think it is his management team that tries to be cute with these Lockett and Mora fights and unfortunately some of the fans think they are helping Pavlik by supporting this. Just as everyone - also Europeans - cried foul after Calzaghe for taking Manfredo, so should everyone demand that Pavlik steps back up after Mora. Personally I think Pavlik sort of deserves two easy fights (well one easy and one semi easy). But after Mora please no Duddy, Rubio or some other no-hoper. And also no champ or ex-champ from LMW just like Taylor liked to feed on. Fans are not dumb so please - Pavlik's management - do the right thing.

    No, he isn't.

He's looked awful right through his career, and got extremely extremely lucky to catch Forrest like that.

He isn't "a lot" better than anybody, and is easily one of the top 5 worst beltholders. Then we consider he'll be fighting at middleweight, and its an even worse fight.

God you people make me vomit:barf All you care about is a handful elite fighters fighting each other and put down the rest. The 160 division is a good one
    You have
    # 1 Arthur Abraham- Big Puncher
    # 2 Winky Wright- master boxer
    # 3 Felix Sturm- a fine boxer
    # 4 John Duddy- great slugger
    # 5 Sergio Mora- tricky spoiler
    # 6 Marco Antonio Rubio- a real banger
    # 7 Sebastian Sylvester- good boxer
    # 8 Randy Griffin- all around good fighter
    # 9 Raul Marquez tough veteran
    # 10 Giovanni Lorenzo raw talent

No, its not a good one. It's only good if you are desperately seeking to boost Pavlik's potential opponents. The way we judge divisions is by comparison, how is middleweight looking next to others?

The answer is terrible. There are two good fighters, and thats the only fight anybody cares about. You have one guy we'd probably put at B level, considering his age and recent showing, in Winky-Wright. After that we are into the C levels.

Duddy got his face near ripped off by a journeyman, and he's supposed to be one of the top fighters in this division. About sums it up.

Manfredo lost to Alfonso Gomez. That's all you need to know about him. Sartison will never be heard from again. Neither will ever win a world title.

Sure, Forrest is a has been now. Before the fight, no one gave Mora a chance and no one was saying Forrest was washed up.

Manfredo lost to Gomez as well as a washed up, inactive Lacy. He's garbage.

Neither one of those guys are SMW's. So it's irrelevant what Sartison would do to them(although I wouldn't be surprised if either one of them beat Sartison). Who can Sartison beat at 168? Who was his best win against? What the hell has he ever accomplished?

And you know this how - got a crystal ball? Did you even watch the fight? He put up a good showing actually, and if he improved his stamina he can compete as a fringe contender.

Manfredo is pretty poor, no complaints there, but then these same people were tearing Joe for fighting Bika too.

Now we're supposed to act like Mora is a credible opponent at 160. If Bika was bad, we shouldn't let Pavlik rest if this happens.

OK, the short of the long is:

    Manfredo: Proven mediocrity.
    Mora: Proven mediocrity.
    Bika: Proven above average.
Sartison: The jury is still out. A good and game performance against Kessler and he has never lost to anyone else. Promising, but we will have to let time tell. Any "he is **** etc." is just biased because so far we have no idea who could beat him except that Kessler could. Mora and Manfredo - we have seen their limits - and they are quite low.

If these four went head to head it would be between Sartison and Bika. Mora and Manfredo would not stand many chances against either Sartison and Bika.
