Come, on get serious. How you can play up that turd middleweight division with guys like Duddy as top contenders and criticise SMW I'll never know Did you see Duddy get mashed by that club fighter? What the hell do you think any top 20 SMW does to him? If we put him in with a fighter at the same stage of his development, like Carl Froch, he gets starched quick time.
Some say he put up a good showing, others say Kessler put on a less than opitmal performance. I would put my money on the latter. Kessler is the type of guy who gets guys who hope to become fringe contenders out of there early. I had no problem with the Bika fight. I'll defend that fight just like I'm defending the Mora fight. Mora is undefeated and a world champ. It wasn't too long ago that he was a top 10 MW, and was poised to fight Taylor for the MW title.
Duddy would out speed the SLOOOOW Froch and win on points:bbb But don't worry by this time next year Pavlik will marching through your so called elite supermiddle weights:yep and put a end too your Ero trash talk:nono
A tournament with the top 10 MW and the top 10 SMW would probably go like this (not including Pavlik, because we are talking about who should meet him): # 1 Joe Calzaghe # 2 Mikkel Kessler # 3 Lucian Bute # 4 Arthur Abraham # 5 Winky Wright # 6 Carl Froch # 7 Librado Andrande # 8 Dennis Inkin # 9 Anthony Mundine # 10 Jeff Lacy # 11 Allan Green # 12 Jean Pascal # 13 Felix Sturm # 14 John Duddy # 15 Sergio Mora # 16 Marco Antonio Rubio # 17 Sebastian Sylvester # 18 Randy Griffin # 19 Raul Marquez # 20 Giovanni Lorenzo We could probably find 10 additional SMWs that would beat most of the MWs on that list: Bika, Edison Miranda, Fulgencio Zuniga, Alejandro Berrio, Vitali Tsypko, Andre Ward, Veit, Stieglitz, Braehmer, Oganov, Hanshaw, Andre Dirrell, Codrington etc. In summary: Abraham and Wright would be competitive, the rest would not be in SMW top 20.
Well. Pavlik and two others are good and noone can say for sure that Pavlik could not actually walk through the SMW division. Maybe he will. However, the rest of MW cannot hide behind these couple of good fighters. The argument is that the rest wouldn't cut it at all in SMW and that Pavlik therefore should not meet any of these jokes.
Pavlik blazing a trail through the SMW division is just about plausible, but unlikely Duddy beating Froch however, is impossible. He can't spell defence, and got near killed by Walid somebody, what the hell is Froch's power gonna do? Starch him inside 3 rounds.
Duddy... well Duddy is ... Why are we even discussing Duddy? He would not have a chance against any top 20 (probably more like top 40) in SMW. It is tragic to think he can be considered a top 10 MW. Has MW ever been more shallow? With Taylor, Zuniga, Miranda etc. running to the much deeper and more exciting SMW, MW probably has never been weaker than now.
Exactly my point, SMW is way stronger. Vincent the buffoon, ultimate Pavlik and middleweight nuthugger is trying to argue otherwise.
I'm afraid not. I've only seen more Sartison fight, and in a losing effort he showed potential to be a top 20 fighter. He was awkward, had a bit of pop, and looked positively schooled in comparison to Lockett's face first style No world beater, but a possible fringe contender with improved stamina of course. Lockett is just horrible. I've seen enough out of him, when he got near decapitated by Tsypko. Plus, Lockett isn't the best middleweight in Britain. I bet Sartison is the best overall boxer in Kazakhstan.
Considering that you're determined to make everyone believe that Supermiddleweight is the first or second deepest division in boxing, claiming that Sartison has a chance to make some noise seriously hurts your argument. We both know that Sartison has no chance against the top guys and anything that Kessler did that was bad should be attributed to ring rust and the fact that he got his first loss and was fighting a low level nobody who was hard to get up for.
Do you consider being top 20 as making noise? :? If Sartison was a middleweight he'd be a genuine contender, considering Lorenzo who got schooled by an old junior middle was talked up, and crap like John Duddy who is too **** for words is regularly touted as a Pavlik opponent Sartison COULD be top 20, if he improved his stamina, and even then it relies on improvement. But he's damn sure better than Lockett.
Sartison would probably be around #3-4 if he was MW imo. I would definitely put my money on Sartison in a fight against Duddy for example.
