C'mon, he deserves credit for his wins over Taylor. Sure, it's pretty evident that Taylor wasn't as great as some were making him out to be, but he was still a very solid challenge for Kelly.

Pavlik is definitely not #1 P4P.. I had him #10, but since he was so impressive last night, I moved him up one spot to #9 and dropped Calderon back to #10..

There is no way in hell Pavlik should move on anyone's list based on the Lockett fight.

You make Markbrooklyn, tyson86 and Killtheking look like they have a clue what they are talking about. That alone is no easy feat.

You have just gone to #1 in my ESB P4P Idiot list......well done sir.:happy

So Miranda, Zertuche, McKart, Taylor and Zuniga don't qualify as "decent"

If you don't give a crap about anyone else's opinion, why even bother posting?

And theoretically, you might discover a dvd set of some other active fighter and elect them pound for pound king who knows.

I have been noticing the skills of Pavlik starting with the Zuniga fight and have made a lot of money betting on him due to everyone thinking he is a joke and stretching the odds out. He has some big defensive liabilities but is far more intelligent in the ring than people give him credit for. If you are making a performance based list than he can't be #1 yet, but if you are going on how he matches up in the future I agree that he has a damn good shot to run the table - or get completely flummoxed by Calzaghe or even seriously hurt at 168.

One thing is for sure he is exciting to watch and poised to make a ton of money.

    I agree with Fidds!

The Pavlik Kessler fight would be a good spectacle - Kessler was beating Calzaghe in the toe2toe action before Joe switched tactics.

Oh my god.......just when you think you have heard it all.

I love the guy, he carries unbelieveable power, but he straight foward, straight punches, reminds me a lot of kessler's style, very european, comes forward and dont know how many times we gonna round with this but Calzaghe loves fighters coming on to him and will make a meal of Pavlik..

If Pavlik hits him enough with the right hand he gonna knock Joe out, no argument with that, but he will only land a few until Joe adjusts and then his chance is gone, JC UD.

Class fight and will have my money but Pavlik not that special, pretty ordinary in what he does...

P4P heaviest hands maybe, but so what, its boxing, your meant to knock people out ya know.
