    Havent read anything about that, but I am glad I beat LA friday night Traffic to get home in time to watch this fight I had a feeling this would be something good...

    Too bad you missed it...

    No comparison at all....Lara punished "the Punisher" and did not get punished in return, and it wasn't a tough mental exercise to see that Lara won handily.

    With Rod-Wolak, it was give and take all 10 rounds. A perfect contrast in styles---boxer vs puncher---to produce a great fight.

    I would NOT have wanted to be a judge in this fight. You can make all three cases....it was a draw, D-Rod won, Wolak won. A majority decision seemed fair to me.

    The draw was the right decision. Both guys deserved a win after that performance.

    No, only Rodriguez deserved the win. The advantages Wolak was supposed to have were his pressure and toughness. Rodriguez matched his toughness and handled the pressure beautifully. He boxed better, landed the better shots, busted Wolak up and walked out of the ring himself looking like he just got out of the shower.

    I haven't seen Williams-Lara so I can't compare. And like I've said in another post, this may not have been an absolute highway robbery, but it was a bad decision. DR won that fight.
