I see he RTD'ed Foreman in March according to Boxrec and the scores show pretty much a whitewash. Is that down to Wolak's skills, or was that more to do with Foreman being on the downward slide?
Wolak couldn't be a journeyman who campaigned at a lower weight thats all that can be said, he is good to watch but not very talented, plus he is Polish and we all know that Polish glass always shatters. If you like seeing people without talent bash each others face in, then Wolak is your man.
Wolak got his ass schooled by Ishe Smith, a perennial gatekeeper. And he recently got his ass brutalized by Devlin Rodriguez, a journeyman welterweight.
This tells me absolutely nothing about Wolak, which was the basis of the thread. Furthermore, if I could somehow glean some information from your monosyllabic reply, it would only be under the provision you provided more clarity as to why Foreman quit. Time to head back to Pacweather land, little boy: :deal
Don't really know much about him outside of that he is ranked pretty high to some people... he doesn't really provide the knockout as opposed to using boxing skills (not saying he is the most skilled boxer though).... he beat Foreman... lost to Ishe Smith (as someone haas pointed out).. AND Chavez was suppose to fight him... but it didn't work out.. Chavez went for a better "moneymaking fight".... using the word duck for that instance prolly ain't the right response...
interesting. So did you see the Foreman fight? Considering how "slick" Yuri can fight, I'm kind of suprised he got whitewashed on all three cards against him. Has Foreman gone downhill that much? Why did he quit against Wolak? Was his knee acting up again or was he just getting pasted?
I haven't seen much of Wolak but you don't need to see a whole lot to know that he is a pressure fighter through and through. He sticks to his opponent like glue and tries to rough them up on the inside(although against Rodriguez he wasn't particularly effective all the time on the inside., also has a good chin.. He's extremely easy to hit on the way in though.
Yuri couldnt copy with Pawels Wolak constant pressure...it was just a wrong style wise for Yuri.he said it was nothing wrong with his knee just couldn't keep Wolak at distance. beside you should know not to ask idiots like Scottish for an opinion,he is just a lowlife troll
as for Wolak-he is very much a pressure fighter that always go forward and keep you at close distance...he throws huge number of punches from the very first bell.can be difficult for some to copy with that kind a style
Yuri fought too long in Wolak's wheelhouse. I guess he got tired from the pressure pretty early. But yeh, he was getting pasted.
His style is a lot like Jake Lamotta's; he's very aggressive and throws a ton of punches, crowds guys, gets in on their check and bombs away to the body and head but doesn't have a lot of power. Seems like a tough guy, and "skilled" at the things he needs to be to do what he does (nice short punches, moves his head okay etc). Doesn't come in at angles as much as he should and will probably path the price for it against harder punchers.
And by the look of your profile it seems to me that you always trollin on a thread about polish fighters and now it seems you changed your location based on us! You got some kind of sick obsession with polaks bud.
scottish doesnt know much about boxing, he's just on here to troll others and give his bias opinions on every polish fighter so that he can feel good about himself. but he wont let us know where he's from or who he desires to follow because he himself is a sensitive little ***** that can't handle the truth. Based on the avatar, i can see you're a klit hater, aka haye worshipper. That tells me just enough about you peace you lame sack of **** :hi:
