Dont know how many on here remember the PPV boxing shows on sky in the 90s, but often the shows would go on for hours, sometimes starting in the UK with a show and then going over live Stateside to continue until the next main event.

I recall the show when Hamed fought Kelly, with the fights in the UK and US that night you had

    Hamed vs Kelly
    Jnr Jones vs McKinney
    Reid vs Malinga
    Wright vs Dodson
Barry Jones in a world title fight
    Mickey Cantwell

    All world title fights

Then across the 2 bills there were other fighters though well known now, not all so much then but still you had
    Dean Francis
    Ricky Hatton
    Juan Guzman
    Danny Williams

or the Lennox Lewis - Shannon Briggs fight with the big PPV bill across the US and UK with

    Lewis vs Briggs
    Brewer vs Graham
    Mayfield vs Dunstan
All world title fights and then there were the other fights like
    Woods vs Starie
    Howard Eastman
    Paul Ingle
    Pat Mullings
    Henry Wharton
    Montell Griffin

The PPV bills seemed to have several match ups that were good and enjoyable.

    Anyone else remember?

What about Benn-Collins on the same night as Tyson-Holyfield and Winky Wright on the Benn-Collins undercard and Bernard Hopkins on the Tyson-Holyfield undercard (or was he on the Tyson-Bruno undercard?).

I also remember Eubank-Thompson with Naz-Vasquez, a young Ricky Hatton, a young Junior Witter, and Roy Jones-Virgil Hill.

Exactly what I mean, they were PPV nights that you didnt want to miss. Big fights and big bills on the same night, then years later the PPV night was Khan vs Prescott before either had reached greater heights in their careers.

When Wright was on the Collins / Benn undercard wasnt that against Ensley Bingham or Steve (Viking) (cant think of his last name, has a son who is still boxing)

Tyson/BrunoII was British Boxng's first PPV. But closed circuit bouts had been going on since at least the 60s.

Best £15 I ever spent. Box Office peaked at Khan getting sparked.
