As always, apologies if this has been answered somewhere else but, the PBC Amazon show a week Saturday is PPV in the States, is it PPV in the Uk ? It looks a good show to me. Many thanks.

Don’t think it’s on Prime over here, there’s been no announcement or anything, and nothing on the app. Given it’s a week and a half away, it’ll probably turn up on FITE/Triller TV as a PPV a few days beforehand.

    Tszyu vs Fundora
    Romero vs Cruz
    Lara vs Zerafa
    Mendoza vs Bohachuk

Stacked card but no real stand-out fight that would make it PPV on its own. No news on UK broadcaster yet unfortunately.

I think PBC are done if they don't find another broadcaster to televise non-PPV cards. They don't have enough dates to get their fighters out and some of them are already leaving.

I remember when Al Haymon tried launching in the UK with the ITV deal and signed some British fighters like Isaac Chamberlain but he never got going. Shows how hard it is to broadcast shows in both the UK and US.

ITV are constantly skint mate, that was never going to work and their box office offering was pitiful and seriously under marketed.

really. Then again when watching NRL Rugby League this morning I noticed Fox Australia were advertising the fight being on main event PPV over there so clearly these PBC PPV's are Amazon Prime US only.

Just had a look at the press release again and it says Prime Video will distribute PBC’s industry-leading pay-per-view (PPV) events in the U.S

ITV spends a billion a year on content, it just gets spread pretty thin! I'd imagined they thought PPV boxing would be cost-neutral but presumably they took a bath on Eubank and never went back.

Degale v Eubank was the one. Why they thought it was smart to put that on PPV is beyond me.

Makes sense. I couldn't find it on Amazon Japan either. Disappointing really

    This is sacrilege.

Budget now tesco ggg maybe going to the echelons of the posher supermarkets should be seen on as many TVs as physically possibly smashing up the Mexican bean pole.

The Broadcaster is irrelevant these days as a few million UK citizens find that the fights are easier to find and watch when on Box Office.

It would be interesting to know the purses both of those were paid for that. I cannot see how that show made anything but a loss.

Its not a few million. PPV's are still more than capable of hitting 500k - 1mil buys.

AJ v Fury will break record numbers and quite easily, that fight will do 2 mil buys easily.
