PBC built up Wilder who got SONNED by Fury 2-3x PBC built up Caleb who Canelo SONNED PBC built up Fulton who Inoue SONNED PBC built up Spence and Porter who bud SONNED Man, PBC a great way for fighters to fight journeymen for decade+ before cashing out. Tank Davis still in the journeymen part of his career...once he steps to Shakur or Loma or an actual LW...SONNED.
Tank is the only elite fighter on this list. Unfortunately for Tank he is surrounded by killers. Tank has the potential to come out on top but his management and fanbases are more worried about making money than legacy defining fights. Haney is fighting for legacy which I applaud but Shakur is the best of the bunch.
Tank pretends to be a force at LW but he never fought Haney, Loma, Teo, or Shakur. Has been fighting sparring partners (Rolly) and IG models (Ryan) and ducked a rematch w Pitbull. Dude's a KTFO waiting to happen.
It's not a joke all promotions have fighters who lose. You can literally make a thread like this about every promotion that has ever existed.
They protect their fighters for a reason. I can't really blame them for protecting their investment from a business stand point but for fight fans it sucks as we've been deprived of fights we should have gotten or had them too late to really matter. It's odd that they haven't been able to genuinely sign a genuinely great fighter, why couldn't Crawford have been with PBC or Canelo or Inoue or Usyk? Instead Crawford was with Arum most of his career, Inoue with Arum in the US, Canelo with GoldenBoy then Matchroom and only now as his career is winding down and his drawing power seemingly waning has he signed with PBC. Davis I believe is the best fighter they've had, he's genuine elite in my opinion. While other fighters in PBC have probably benefited in being protected I think he's actually the one exception and been held back by their approach. But then again maybe he doesn't care as long as he's making good money.
Wishful thinking son. I sonned you like I am your daddy but won’t recognize you as my real child more a best forgotten indiscretion.
