Your points are valid but HBO's reasons for leaving stemmed more due their change in direction partially by the newly appointed President who wanted to focus more on developing & growing their Series/Dramas & Documentaries & get away from Boxing, Of course with all the other Promotional Companies out there causing constant roadblocks for them & all the other politics that ensued didn't help HBO keep their lights on but i also recall back to 2010 between 2016 that certain negotiations of fights left them frustrated & wanting to cut ties even more way back then, fast forward to those last few years & i guess it just got to the point of HBO realizing that it just wasn't worth all the hassle of them trying, end being them washing their hands altogether permanently from the boxing business.

PBC approached Haney the so called undisputed 135 Champion to fight for a career high obscene amount and the 2 time Email champion said he was going up to 140 pounds to fight Regis Prograis. That’s right. Tank did not call out Inoue rather it was Inoue’s team who said they would like to go to America to fight Tank. Tank’s mentor Floyd said it can happen even at a catchweight with some stipulations. Tanks preference is to fight Haneybor Teo next but both seem reluctant to defend their titles foe mega money against Tank. I wonder why. Shakur wants itbas does Tank but in Shakur own words it’s 2 years away to build it into a mega match. I don’t know what shakes Inoue takes or does not take nor do I care.
