We all knew this was coming.. You didn't? :huh

Its not cool, it never was, because there was ALWAYS an ulterior reason and many of us knew it... Why do you think the word monopoly was being used when discussing PBC.

Quite obviously Al has seen how over the years, especially more recent times, the WBC,IBF etc etc have been able to chop and change their own rules, move goalposts and pretty much manouvre the belts on to the waists of the people that will make most money for them.

The IBF have resented Vlad having the belt all these years, he failed in America and fought out of Germany, The IBF want an somebody fighting out of America, preferably American and hopefully loved. So the minute Vlad got beat by another none American not fighting out of America they worked their magic and now its in the hands of an American fighting out of America.

Its that easy, Haymon wants belts that he can manipulate held by fighters he can manipulate. He is just another leach drinking the blood out money out of a sport.

How else are they going to legitimize the PBC? No belts? No problemo!

This is actually the best thing that could ever happen with boxing. The fact is its many decades later than it should had happened.

He'll set it up exactly like the UFC which is great, and for the first 5 maybe first decade all the fights will be on PBC regular broadcasting.

The only downfall for us fans is the # of ppv fights per year. Trashing all those bogus organization is great, just all those fights will be ppv.

So for Kovalev and Stevenson to fight, it'll be ppv and Al will have to open his checkbook wide for Kovalev , ggg and all the top fighters.

Many ppv fights to get everything straightened out for a while, within a decade or so the PBC will be the same as the UFC model.

How and why would anyone have an issue with a real boxing league??? Way past due, but it's still better late than never

StaminaKills has a point, there is a reason UFC is getting bigger. Their fighters ACTUALLY fight each other, and lose.

Boxing needs to go the way like the UFC. Boxers need to be under one umbrella. But do we want boxing to be in the hands of Al Haymon?

i dont think boxing should be in the hands of a private individual unless they can divise a fair ranking system and have the best fight the best

with haymon completely in chargge you would see marketable fighters eg broner getting tons of undeserved opportunities because he can make the most money but better fighters not getting to the top
