The PBC is messed up. They are spoiling Boxing for PBC Boxers. They have decided they dont want to recognize a world title? Who has decided that? I bet its not any of the Boxers who would actually be the ones putting their lives on the line for these belts. I never thought i would say this but i actually despise one of the Promotional outfits. They are getting in between Boxers and fights to make business decisions. They have made sure to block a number of fights that Boxing fans want to see. These goons are beginning to really spoil Boxing in America and if you get on Youtube they have a band of fans under a certain label who seem to shill for them by bigging up anything PBC no matter how boring or lame whilst purposely crapping on anything none PBC related, especially things that are considered a threat to them or one of their fighters. Screw the PBC they are making this sport worse for us, on purpose, so the suited up men who dont fight can make business decisions that suits the suits, not the fighters, not the sport and not its fans.
I believe it's so they have less of a chance to get caught up with mandatories and purse-bids with big rival promoters. Nothing to do with what they think of the WBO belt in general. They obviously can make deals with the WBC, and the WBA's 5 belt structure also actively prevents fighting those pesky mandatories from other big promoters. The IBF is the odd one out, but very US centric and so more chance to have in house fights.
