He won IMO but one of the scorecards was a bit too wide (i think it was like 9-1...which was ridiculous). But i think 6-4 Santamaria was fair including a KD.

    Round 1

Santamaría is jabbed into the ropes but soon begins to pick off Alexander's right jab and score with his left while stopping on a dime and performing directional changes while moving laterlly. A few rear hand shots from both, mostly at chest height, all doing no more than graze.

    10-9 Santamaría, close

...oof, Devon was addicted to painkillers during his two year layoff? That's a quick turnaround not only to have kicked the habit but to have cleaned up enough to be in fighting shape, period, let alone "big comeback fight on TV" shape.

    Round 2

Santamaría is crouching in a peekaboo and coming up with a left jab. Alexander dives through and flops onto him, smothering, and then whacks him on the side of the head with a right hook. Santamaría is backing away, measuring, picking his spots with the left jab and not throwing many power shots outside a couple of spears on the body as they slam together with Alexander buzzing his neck and sideburns with lefts.

    10-9 Alexander, close

    Round 3

Santamaría is starting to line up that right hand on the body and stop Alexander in his tracks with it from outside. Alexander keeping his right arm by his side on approach, drawing it up and jabbing outward but not reaching as Santamaría preserves the distance with extra pep in his step and leaves a trail of landmines with those right hands on the body.

    10-9 Santamaría

    29-28 Santamaría

I think that was part of the reason why he was taken out by Redkach when he came back. Ivan can hit, but Alexander's chin was pretty legendary in his day.

Santamaria's a different animal, but he's a versatile one, and it's giving Devon a lot of issues, thus far.

Goossen saying he thinks Alexander is dominating and has given him "every round", when Santamaría won the last two pretty clearly. :dunno

I think the fix is in and Alexander gets a robbery decision.
