    Round 1 Maestre 10-9

Close early, Fox elusive, all Maestre late, swarming and landing overhands.

Fox looks like he could fold if hit flush

Fox has a tendency to clinch a lot when he's pressured + a decent chin imo, in the Ergashev fight he tied him up whenever a decent shot landed

    Round 1 Maestre 10-9
    Round 2 Fox 10-8

Maestre got overeager walked right into a short straight left, which dropped him, but he came back in the last half and almost did enough, but not quite.

Maestre made a good account of himself after the knockdown, maybe even did enough to warrant it being only 10-9 Fox, but it's worrying if a featherfist drops you.

    Round 1 Maestre 10-9
    Round 2 Fox 10-8
    Round 3 Fox 10-9

Maestre having a hell of a time pinning him down this round, all the while he's getting tagged with body shots and lefts.

    Fox wins another round 10-9
Fox using his reach, footwork and jab. Maes is going to find a way inside before too long.
    30-26 Fox

Maestre was knocked out by Roniel Iglesias in WSB and Carlos Banteur in the amateurs. Now, both Cubans are pretty good but neither is a monstrous hitter so yeah, we can probably surmise the Venezuelan's whiskers aren't the sturdiest.

    Round 1 Maestre 10-9
    Round 2 Fox 10-8
    Round 3 Fox 10-9
    Round 4 Maestre 10-9

Close round, I prefer the pressure and volume from Maestre.

Seems crazy to call a 22-2 guy beating a 3-0 guy an 'upset' but, that is exactly what looks to be in the works here.

Not going to lie guys; Fox is looking really good against a quality opponent, albeit one with a suspect chin. He may be a real player and not a PBC hype-job chump.
