Mares wins the seventh. Up by two points after seven.

    Round 7

Mares is jabbing lightly into the guard. Reyes is shoving in, using his forearms to plow Mares into the ropes. Mares is landing some incidental leather as he tosses left hooks and saluting rights while falling back against the ropes. Reyes is reaching and coming up short with the jab.

    10-9 Mares

    69-63 Mares

Abner has not only plateaued but seems to have gone off a cliff

Like the rest of us. Like Mares and Reyes themselves.

Different fighter, yeah. If the guy he is now were coming up the ranks as a young gun his ceiling would be considered maybe headlining on Solo Boxeo.

    El Raton ruined him.

Stalking me again I see, you ****ing weirdo, I was rooting and pulling for Guerrero I thought he'd expose Thurman to a certain extent and he did in the last 3 rounds, but my kirk's challenge pick is what matters I could care less about fake money.

Riding on past name value. (which he will never again come near deserving; he's peaked)

    Round 8

Mares is getting walked back, all his jabs hitting glove or wrist. Wide hooks by Mares, none getting past Reyes' guard. Body shots by Reyes ducking in, letting Mares skim his upper crown with light shots tossed out in predictable straight patterns up high.

    10-9 Reyes

    78-73 Mares

Steve Farhood gave Reyes the eighth and has it fairly close.

Wow, you're on a delay or something. We're heading into the 10 and final here.

I had it 3 rounds to 3 after six, but I've given Mares rounds seven, eight and nine.
Mares up by four with one round to go.
