    What did you guys think?

I personally approved of the show throughout the entire production.

The commentators were good for once.

    Fair reffing

Fair judging (the 114 to 114 was a bit off though IMO. But the right decision was given out)

    Good action

Two matches that werent complete blowouts! This is the main thing that I was surprised at, two fights on the card were competitive. It wasn't just some prospect going in to beat up a paid off guy, and Al Haymon didn't plant any devices in someone's ankle to explode when his favorite fighter was getting beat. No text messages were sent to have a fighter quit on the stool.

But I think the main thing that made the production not annoying was the commentators. I hate how they sometimes have 6 commentators, this show only really had 2. Also the 6 they normally have suck, I used to be a huge fan of SRL, but seeing him become one of Haymon's stooges kind of made a part of me die inside (during broner fight he was verbally ****ing broners ****). Teddy Atlas isn't some guy who will bow down to Haymon. This was one of the best PBC's all through out. But IMO it still ranks WAY lower than an HBO or showtime production... I understand that it is FREE, but I think the quality can be improved. I still rate the series low, but if all shows were like this, my opinion might be improved.

Also, this doesn't mean Al Haymon shouldn't be called a criminal for violating the Muhammad Ali Act. He is trying to monopolize the sport still, and maybe upping the sub-par quality of his PBC show is a part of that plot. But I am being objective here (as I always am) and saying last nights show was decent.

Are you reading my mind? Also, I think the one's that get televised in prime time tend to be better cards. It was a little annoying how the ads were for the same two products over and over, and they just ran a bunch of ads for ten minutes when the fight before the main event ended early by knockout. They should have something better planned for when that happens. Other than that, not a bad show at all.

It was good (although I only saw little of the first fight but I heard it was great so I'm going with it) The last two shows have been great in all honesty, after a bunch of "less than stellar" ones, however, it looks like we'll now go back into the less than stellar events, the schedule looks bad.

Yeah, hopefully the other events won't be tainted by the Al Haymon hallmarks such as poor judging, paid off refs, and professional divers.

  5. They have to run the same commercial's over and over, that's who sponsored the fight. HBO and ShowTime don't have sponsored fights. Good fight ,great production.

The Munoz vs Angulo fight was good, shows the level that Angulo is at...!!!

Ceja vs Ruiz stole the show with the Highlight Reel KO...!!!

Mares vs Santa Cruz was a great fight, not FOTY worthy, but great nonetheless.

Great card from the undercards on ESPN Streaming to the Main event on ESPN Television...!!!

One of the best shows from PBC so far. Pretty sure PBC gained alot of future fans and viewers, so now they need to deliver on a constant basis. And it looks like they doing a good job. The entrances for LSC-Mares were alot better than previous shows, let them play their respective music too. Maybe network not letting Broner come in with rap music cuz not network friendly or royalties perhaps?

I think the ESPN shows have been the best so far. A large part of this belongs to the ESPN crew. I rank Joe and Teddy very highly among boxing commentators. Unlike a lot of the other networks, these guys have have a lot more experience and have built up chemistry over years together. They're also not ****riding the Haymon fighters as much as some of the other PBC network teams.

PBC is good with Mexicans or Europeans fighting (because they come to fight & entertain).

Slick urbans from the US? .....forget about it, ratings killer.
