PBC on Bounce TV: Erickson Lubin vs. José Macías & Alex de Jesús vs. Joe Elegele RBR

Round 1

Lubin is shooting the right jab from his forehead. Macías is keeping a high guard of his own, stepping left. Macías steps in and slashes with a chest-high left hook. Lubin parries it off the back of his right arm. Macías blocks a 1-2 and is pushed against the ropes with Lubin's gloves pinching his face together. Macías blasts his way clear of a corner moments later with a string of uppercuts. Lubin is throwing a southpaw jab at Macías' 3rd eye with metronome regularity, but low accuracy, not making adjustments for the variations in Macías' speed and distance. Lubin happy just to get the jab in Macías' vicinity, not caring if he lands, waiting to set up a big left. He chases Macías into the ropes with a left but can't reach as Macías dashes laterally along them. Quick shuffles to his left by Macías, pawing with the orthodox jab. Macías ducks and rolls against the ropes, and they move together for a clinch.

Round 2

Macías is drilled with a big left hand lead as Lubin presses him into a corner. Lubin working them into the body now, digging beneath the elbows of Macías. Lubin is throwing a left uppercut from outside, falling into a southpaw Philly shell and hanging/leaning back as Macías tosses jabs at his sloped right bicep & shoulder. A solid 1-2 from Macías stepping in and then jogging laterally. Flush left hand lead by Lubin. Macías shakes it off while dancing to his left. Macías dives in with an overhand right on the breadbasket, and Lubin counters with a straight left on the body.

Round 3

Macías is clapping a right hook against the side of Lubin's head and banging shoulders with him in short repetitive collisions. Hard lefts and right hooks on the body from Lubin. Macías is hurt downstairs. Macías doubled over by a big right upper-hook as Lubin dips to his right for leverage. Macías complains it was low; it wasn't. Lubin now does land a low blow.

Round 4

Macías is reaching awkwardly in with a flailing counter overhand right as Lubin fishes with the jab and jerks away in straight lines. Lubin is flicking the jab out sideways from his chest while turned away from Macías, who catches it on his left wrist and pushes it away. Jab and swooping left uppercut on the chest by Lubin stepping in, but Macías circumvents him, planting his lead foot out behind Lubin's and swinging his trailing leg in one motion. Lubin dribbles a few light right jabs and a poking left into Macías' guard. Body shots by Lubin.

Fight_Ghost thought Macías won the 4th. It was closer, but, I'm not sure about that..

 

To be fair he does have a live chat going on his Periscope channel and is verbally responding to people while also giving a bare-bones commentary of the action. Kind of distracting to multitask like that.
