First card too wide, but right call... Can't argue with that. A little too late for Thompson.

Putrid fight. Sparring sessions have more passion.

Mostly thanks to Scott. Thompson should retire I agree though.

Well Malik is officially a fringe contender again.
Don't think he has the chin, or power to make much noise though.
Probably has potential to be a decent gatekeeper.
This fight probably makes him top 20.
I could see Scott in with someone like Breazeale next.

Scott get worked by anyone decent who can apply educated pressure any bully him against the ropes. Takam would destroy him. Of course anyone else who's moderately skilled, and carries power does a number on him as well.

    Or this^
Martin who is quicker than Thompson would probably KO him.

I thought that going into the fight. That the winner would be a fringe player again but that display was awful by both men.
Tony went through the motions for a paycheck. Old slow, reflexes totally gone. Time to retire.
Scott- showcased his glass chin again and his ability to run and stink a place out. He has some ability still but his style is awful and his chin is awful. No interest in sitting through any of his fights again.

Haymon has to be moving his chips quickly here.
Scott beats Thompson who's age showed, but it's still a good win, so Haymon has a chance to get Martin, or Breazeale into title contention by beating Scott.
I think both would KO Scott without a great deal of difficulty.

I had it 6-4 Scott. 2 rounds for Thompson + the KD. At little closer than you're suggesting.
