    Round 9

McDonnell is pressuring, keeping his jab in Kameda's line of sight and lining up a lane for his right hand. McDonnell boxing very carefully but aggressively. Kameda circling, throwing quick jabs into the air, burrowing in close to sumo-wrestle a bit, then whacking the body with short, no-leverage arm punches. BIG RIGHT HAND by McDonnell. Kameda takes it well and responds with his own quick lead right hand jumping in, but not as effective.

    10-9 McDonnell

    86-84 Kameda

The knockdown really could end up being a difference-maker...

Tomoki seems to be too dependent on his speed.

    Round 10

McDonnell is taking pairs of steps in, bowing his legs, weaving to either side, and jabbing. Kameda is stringing McDonnell along, throwing quick woodpecker jabs on the backfoot. Both land a right hand at the same time, McDonnell's a bit flusher and harder, but Kameda is first to follow up with a quick 2nd right hand. Kameda flurries unanswered from the clap until the bell.

10-9 McDonnell despite the Sugar Ray Leonard steal attempt by the challenger in the last 10-15 seconds.

    95-94 Kameda

If McDonnell would keep that jab in his face and make this a mid or longer range fight he could do much better with this little fast guy Tomatoes

He visibly gassed after the halfway point, in my opinion, and that's why he seems speed reliant and his head/body movement has slowed defensively.
